I love being a caregiver because it is such an emotional and meaningful job where I can truly connect with a person or even a pet. Knowing that I can be of great help, bring comfort, and be useful to someone makes me feel fulfilled, and being able to keep them company makes the experience even more special. I cared for a 93-year-old woman for over a year, and during that time I helped her with daily needs such as bathing, changing, and cleaning, while also listening to her stories and providing companionship. I never saw it just as a job, but as an opportunity to share kindness, patience, and support with someone who needed it most.
