I have had many years child care experience prior to venturing into the Insurance claims business. As a single mother I needed the benefits. Raised successfully two fine boys now grown. Proud grandma of five. My caregiver experience started back in 2009, when my father had a stroke. I quit my job as a Work Comp Adjuster in Aliso Viejo, Ca and moved to Sun City to assist my parents. I became CPR/First Aid Certified at that time. My father had since passed and I had moved my mother back to Orange county where I had been assisting her in a Senior Community with her daily needs, housecleaning, doctor visits, etc, till she had obtain heart issues. Her PTP had recommended an assisted living facility. I am working for an agency right now as a caregiver in Huntington Beach. Unfortunately they have not been assigning me enough hours per week to pay rent. I had initially applied with them for a live in assignment but by the time they had me take all these course, registering with the State as a care aid, finger printing, etc. the position was all ready filled. I ran a crossed your posting and it looks to be secure and long term which is what I am looking for. Please advise if the position is still available.
