Caring for others is very important to me. Providing comfort, safety, and joy are gifts that I wish to live out daily. My name is Katie and I am looking for a unique living situation where my assistance, care and positivity can be useful to an elder or a family while staying with them. I have years of experience and would be happy to prep meals, run errands/appointments/practices/laundry/garden/etc in lieu of a portion of rent.
The past three years I have been managing the Farm Stand at The Ecology Center in SJC. Being able to witness nutritious food change our communities health has made me want to personally help in an even deeper way therefore I am starting part-time school in the holistic health direction.
