I have been a babysitter/nanny for over ten years. Most recently, I've transition into being a care companion. I work by referral through friends and former clients. I have always had strong and vital relationships with older people and regard them as. source of inspiration and find it life-affirming to work for them. I have spent critical time aiding my dad through his cancer treatments and spent time with clients in hospitals, post-surgery, and through life-transitions such as moving.

I provide excellent care. My greatest strength is my patience and listening skills. I love to cook, garden, read and simply chat. My love language is acts of service and it brings me great pride to brighten someone's day.

My other experience in child-care has prepared me for my transition into companion care: I started in undergrad, and have been a nanny to many wonderful families since I graduated, and am happy to still have relationships with families I have worked for for many years. I recently moved back to Los Angelas after graduating with my MFA from the University of Seattle, WA. I work hard, I am punctual, easy-going, and truly enjoy working with kids. I have a strong knowledge of the NYC, and know how to travel with kids to activities anywhere in the city. I am also a teacher (elementary-under-grad), well-educated, and respectful. I have a BA from Kenyon College, and most recently taught with the non-profit company Opening Act, bringing improv/acting classes to NYC High School students. I also coach students applying to BA/MFA acting programs, and can teach dance Shakespeare and acting. I am creative, fun-loving and truly love what I do. I am able too tutor in most subjects ages 1st-12th grades.
