I started in this field, as a care giver for my own grandfather. I moved in with my grandparents after spending a few years at a California state college. He had Parkinson's disease and needed 24/7 care. I very quickly learned many important care taking methods and since have only polished them by working for a home care company for over 4 years now. I have a lot of experience with dementia and Alzheimer's as well. This is a very confusing illness and I feel very confident that I know how to handle many different situations.
