Elizabeth’s Bio
i my is Elizabeth, I have worked at Garden Grove Hospital as a private duty caregiver for a wonderful 88 year old women on the weekends for two years.
I have also worked as a Behavioral Specialist, at Regional Center vendor and Non-Public Agency (NPA) whose mission is to empower caregivers to develop their child’s fullest potential through the provision of Individualized, Person-Centered, Effective, Behavior services. The ages of students range from 2 to 19 years old. I provide Applied Behavior Analysis services, including Discrete Trail Training (DTT) and Behavioral Modification (BMOD).
In addition, to my Behavioral Specialist experience, I have also worked for Community Enhancement Corporation (CEC), for the past five years. This position allowed me to understand the many facets of developing a quality, affordable and accessible educational center in order to increase school readiness and provide the foundation for life success, including the promotion of health, social and emotional well-being.
My goal in my career is to make a difference in the lives of children and their families. The focus of my career has been in child development. I have completed a Bachelor Arts in Child Development from California State University, Los Angeles and earned placement on the Dean List in all of my upper division studies.
Because I consider myself a lifelong learner, I am constantly reflecting on my work with students. I am consistently collecting data, reviewing progress and finding ways to improve myself as well as my students. I collaborated with colleagues to develop goals that would benefit my students. My experiences have enhanced my success as an educator. My Spanish speaking ability have proven to be an asset with my students
