My name is Angela Carmen Ochoa, but I go by Carmen. I graduated from California State University San Bernardino Palm Desert Campus with my Bachelors in Nutrition and Food Sciences. After graduation I decided I wanted to become a nurse so I enrolled in the Nursing Assistant Program at College of the Desert. I wanted to take this course so I could get more experience in basic nursing skills. I am planning to apply to the RN program at College of the Desert in March 2019. After completing the Nursing Assistant Program, I received an A in the course and I will be taking my state exam to become a certified nursing assistant on Monday December 17th.
