Francheli P. Care Companion in Riverside, CA 92515

Hello, My name is Francheli. I have worked in senior care for 2 years. I love this job because it really allows you learn other people’s history and it’s interesting to see what other people enjoy or enjoyed. I love hearing stories that make the person light up. My first job was at a retirement villa; that is where I learned to shower, groom, dress and assist with feeding. I did that for about 6 months then moved my way to also administering their medications and preparing it for them. I found a new job with less residents and found that I had more time to spend more quality time with them. I was mostly preparing medications and treatments but since their was less people to care for it allowed me time to sit and talk with them eat snack and am give them more personal companionship. I have worked with people ranging from the age of 48-95 and from people with and without dementia or Alzheimer’s. I am applying to an LVN program and hopefully after being accepted, I will only be available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
