Hi there!!
My name is Amina, and I am a college graduate. I recently graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Sacramento State University. I have been babysitting ever since I was 12 years old from watching my younger cousins to children within the neighborhood. I have experience with children all the way from newborn to 12 years old. I love interacting with children and making sure that they have a funtime. I am looking forward to making new connections with families and being able to offer my services where ever they are needed. References upon request! As an Afghan American we grow up to be surrounded / live with our elders. In doing so I have much experience with the caring for the elderly as well. In 2018 my grandmother had a stroke leaving her entire right side paralyzed. This resulted in meal preparation, pill reminders, blood sugar levels taking, washing and changing as well as changing diapers and putting to bed. This experience has taught me a lot and has helped me grow as an individual. I have much respect for the elderly and I find that it is best to keep a calm collected mindset when working with these individuals who struggle living their daily lives.
