Hi, I am Cortney Yap! I grew up in Rancho Santa Margarita my whole childhood! I attended Arroyo Vista elementary school and Tesoro high school. I graduated from Cal Poly SLO in 2019 with a degree in biology and minors in psychology and child development. I am now completing my graduate school, doctoral degree for Occupational therapy.
I have always loved working and playing with kids! I often help out my friends who are teachers and have a lot of younger cousins and neighbors I have taken care of. In college, I worked with ABA services for children with autism for a year and a half, and LOVED IT. Recently, I completed my pediatric rotation for occupational therapy this past winter in Colorado working with a variety of children with varying diagnoses such as ADD, ADHD, Autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy.
I am also CPR and first aide certified◡̈
