Sandra’s Bio
Hi, I’m Sandra!
I’m a recently graduated Doctor of Occupational Therapy student, currently studying for my national board exam. While I prepare for licensure, I’m seeking meaningful work where I can continue supporting others.
I’m not some young, fresh kid just out of school—I bring maturity, dedication, and a strong clinical foundation. I graduated at the top of my class and have completed rigorous clinical rotations in skilled nursing facilities and inpatient rehab. I’ve worked with individuals with low mobility, special needs, and those recovering from strokes, providing compassionate care grounded in evidence-based practice.
Occupational therapy focuses on helping individuals participate in the activities that are meaningful to them—whether that’s getting dressed, socializing, cooking, or simply feeling safe and supported in their daily lives. That’s why companion care is such a natural fit for me. It’s not just about being present—it's about fostering quality of life, promoting independence, and offering emotional support, all of which align deeply with the values of OT.
These experiences have shown that I am more than capable of managing responsibilities like sitting or caregiving roles, especially when it comes to safety, communication, and empathy. I believe in treating everyone like family and in helping people live the best lives possible—no matter their age or ability.
If you’re looking for someone reliable, experienced, and genuinely passionate about care, I’d be honored to help.
