I specialize and teach dementia care and I own www.ageandthecity.com of Manhattan, New York, where my caregivers work with a select few seniors with beginning to middle stages dementia. Because I am constantly revising my training manual, I also work in the field of aging. I prefer very difficult cases where my work can heal the individual. I have been able to get my clients on a "normal" schedule where sundowning is avoided. I can alleviate temperamental behaviors such as rage and anxiety. My model is to lessen the need of medication and to take on a more holistic approach when adding meaning to a client's life.
