Yvette’s Bio
I am a IHHS certified worker, partners with the county. I’m also cpr certified and have take many classes and am very well trained! I’m a very hard responsible and reliable individual , who cares about others. I have a passion to care for Seniors, who have been in this life, with so much wisdom. I truly respect elders. I was brought up, knowing , there is always a invisible level of respect, that we show to the elderly.
So here’s some information about my care for seniors and children, as well as my special needs brother. My mom had, several, small strokes. She was ill for 7 years. I quit a very high paying job, working as a store manager, at Valley Fair mall in Santa Clara ( Proctor & Gamble ). To become my mothers, full time caregiver. A short time after, my elderly dad had heart problems, so I also cared for him. I also worked for two hours a day on an elementary campus ( Evergreen, a blue ribbon and distinguished school, caring for the safety of 757 students, as a noon duty supervisor. I also would help teachers throughout the district, translate to parents during ( Iep ) meeting. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish. I am currently a volunteer caring for kids for after school care for the Ymca, under the direction of Director, Irma Cornelio, at six different schools. I also volunteer at the senior center at the community center, taking care of my brother. Although, I have over 20 years as a store manager, as well as a Director of Retail, for the Salvation Army, overseeing over 100 employees who were in rehab, for substance abuse, living on site. I had 16 stores and through, recycled goods, we recycled lives! I have recently obtained my Home care state licence- 7517328877. I am confident, I would make a significant contribution to your organization. My hours are flexible. I am available for overnight care, when seniors can become vulnerable, and possibly, try to drive, open the door for others or even turn on the stove. I look forward to hearing from you soon, to elaborate more. I am really looking for somewhere in the San Jose area for companion care. My passion is to care and treat seniors, like my own family!
Kind Regards,
Yvette Kuiper
