Elizabeth’s Bio
I really don't have any experience. I was a nanny years ago and I'm the oldest by 9 years, so I've always cared for children. I'm applying for a specific position I saw on Indeed.com because I want to help a family who has a parent suffering from Alzheimers.
What makes me a companion is how I cared for my grandmother who had alzheimers. It was a disease that not only took a toll on her, it took a toll on us. I watched her go finally relieved that she was out of pain and got her mind back with her spirit.
I see others managing the care of their parents with this disease and the toll it takes on them. If I can provide any sort of relief for them by helping out a few hours, I would feel privileged to do it.
I do have a day job, but it is flexible and my nights are free. I'm looking to make a little extra money and sitting with a senior and keeping her company would be a blessing. I have a fun personality, I'm honest and very trustworthy so no one has to worry about having me in their home or taking care of their mom.
I just want to give back and help a family who needs it.
