I love being a caregiver because I feel like it comes off so naturally to me. I have worked at facilities and inpatient homes over the last 12 years. A lot of the skills and training I know are from when I received my CNA certificate like showers, getting patients in and out of anywhere you can imagine, following their diet which also includes the texture of food they can eat, helping them with medication’s, and to always remind them they matter.
