Chaundra’s Bio
Hello. My name is Chaundra Moon. I am a mother and educator who is looking to spend some of my free time supporting the elderly as a Care Companion. In previous years, I was a Care Companion for my great-grandparents through IHSS, my grandmother, and my neighbor whom I lovingly grew to call Grandma Lowell.
As a Care Companion for my great-grandparents, I cook meals, provided housekeeping, and helped my great-grandmother with moderate bathing. As a Care Companion for my grandmother, I transported her to doctor's appointments and grocery trips, provided housekeeping consisting of vacuuming and laundry, cooked meals, and spent time with her as a companion.
As a Care Companion for Grandpa Lowell, I provided laundry and cleaning support, transportation to doctor's appointments and stores, helped with dressing, medication dispersement as he would sometimes get confused, mobility support with wheelchair, and served as a companion when he'd want to dine at restaurants.
My times as a Care Companion brought me joy and lots of laughter, and so I look forward to supporting someone in this role.
