I believe that the elderly are some of the most special people, and are undoubtedly deserving of receiving exceptionally kind, respectful, and compassionate care. I hold appreciation for the elderly, as they remind me to enjoy and value the little things in life.
For 5 years, I worked for a dermatology practice specializing in skin cancer removal/ Mohs surgery. I am grateful for the opportunity I had in assisting our elderly patients navigate through the emotional and practical difficulties associated. I strived to ease their minds and make the intake process as simple and streamlined as possible; I have even held their hands during surgery.
