My name is Yasmine, I am 20 years old and have been an EMT for 2 years. I am certified in BLS CPR, first aid, and the use of an AED. Since I was 14 years old I have been caring for my grandmother who had stomach cancer, and now I am helping care for my grandfather who has dementia and Alzheimers. I work with older people daily and have a lot of experience working with people with mild - severe memory loss. I like to think I am an excellent cook, and I am happy to do some light housekeeping including dishes, tidying up around the house, and laundry.

She assisted my 78 yr. old aunt (suffering from both aphasia and dementia) for a few days when she arrived home following hip replacement surgery and therapy. Yasmine demonstrated she has the "situation awareness" and experience to understand what needs to be done and is proactive.
