Hello,
I've served as a caregiver on and off throughout most of life for children, young adults, and elderly, both able-bodied and physically challenged. It has been a privilege assisting those who've required an extra hand. For the past several years I've helped a wheelchair-bound woman with MS. Previously I served a wonderful lady with Parkinson's Disease. My gifts of compassion, empathy and proactive listening allow me to assist cheerfully and wholeheartedly.
My work with such diverse clientele has provided an incredible amount of hands-on learning, since each individual has such different needs.
I cared for my mother in her final years, and also her mother, my grandmother, before she required 24/7 care at age 96.
I have raised, with my husband of 30 years, four wonderful children, who are now young adults and have flown the nest (I'm not loving this empty-nest thing yet)! :)
I enjoy people, pets, gardening, fitness, health & nutrition, reading, organizing, and friends, among other things.
I'd love to come alongside you and provide assistance in your time of need.

My husband and I came to Petaluma for a wedding. This was the first time we left our 7 month old with anyone but family, so you can imagine how nervous we were. Catherine put all our nerves at ease with her calling presence and thoughtful demeanor. If we lived closer, we would use her as our everyday sitter. We really appreciated her and how we could enjoy the wedding knowing our daughter was in good hands!
