hello! My name is grace, and I am a student at Santa Rosa Junior College. I am almost done with all of my prerequisites to start nursing school. The only three classes I have left are microbiology, anatomy and physiology. I would’ve finished all three this semester if it wasn’t for Covid. Currently I work at Pacifica Senior living in Healdsburg but previously I worked at Muirwoods memory care for two years. Most of my experience is with the residence with the Alzheimer’s or dementia. Before I started working professionally as a caregiver, I took care of my grandfather who passed sea when he was 99 and I also assisted with hospice care of my aunt who passed away from brain cancer. at my job in Healdsburg I work the overnight shift from 10 PM till 6 AM Thursday through Sunday nights. I also have a lady that I care for two or three days a week for a couple hours that varies week to week. I am also signed with two different agencies but I don’t have to work any set hours for the agencies. I only pick up extra shifts if I would like to make extra money. I am taking speech online this semester so my school schedule is extremely flexible and I give one speech a month from 9-11 am on either a tuesday or thursday. all my life I have been a very compassionate and caring person. My friends always called me the “mom“ of our friend group. I absolutely adore animals and have 4 cats and a dog and a collection of reptiles and fish as well. My partner works from home so luckily he is able to tend to our animals and home most of the time. I would love to schedule an interview and meet your mom and see if we are a good fit!
