Ariana’s Bio
Hello! My name is Ariana and I am a recent UC Davis graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Human Developmental. My long term goal is to become a developmental doctor.
In my most recent position as a Client Advocate, I was afforded the opportunity of nurturing one of my passions of serving the unique population of individuals with developmental disabilities. As an advocate, I served as a liaison between my clients and their community, family, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. This position allowed me to support my clients in meeting their established goals by collecting and analyzing data regarding their progress in their daily living skills.
In my time as a paraprofessional, I worked and played one on one with children diagnosed with Autism in multiple settings including home, center and classroom/school based locations. I implemented a child’s individualized program to help them improve skills such as functional communication, motor and vocal imitation, self-help skills, and much more.
Lastly, my degree in Human Development has more than prepared me to understand how both the biological and social factors affect one’s developmental process.
