I decided to become a caregiver because I enjoy helping people and it's fun for me! I picked elderly people to work with because I enjoy listening to stories about their lives and their families. Elderly people have a lot of interesting stories and history to teach people. I'm a good fit when it comes to working with people because I'm a "People Person." I'm a very caring, giving and personable individual. I'm also healthy, active, friendly and positive which makes a difference in people. Most importantly, I make it about who I'm caring for!!! After six years in Caregiving, I'm looking for a position caring for an infant or a toddler, and I will have just as much fun working with this new age. In addition, I have a teacher-type personality that people pick up from me when they meet me, which truly does match who I am. Being this type of person will help me in working with children!
