I want to improve the quality of learning and life for people with disabilities. Experience: 5yrs ABA therapist for children/ young adults with special needs. Worked in several schools/homes providing assistance with emotional, cognitive, behavioral and physical disabilities as well as teaching art and leading life skill groups. I will use my experience to provide focused strategies to target areas that are difficult and build autonomy. Improve social skills, life skills, and self-care. I aim to aid in the independence and evolution of the people in my care, in a safe individualized manner. Background in the arts also allows me to be creative/flexible keep a fresh perspective and further support, motivate and take clients out of their comfort zones (we have fun!)
