I am currently working on my RN. I always had a soft spot for the elderly. It has been said that there's something about me having a soothing way of making people comfortable. I have been a caregiver since 2002 as a job but I started taking care of family members when I was in high school; my great grandmother until she was 105 and my aunt who had cancer. I have experience with stroke patients, post surgery, Dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Cerebral palsy, and other diseases and hospice care. I give support in activities of daily living providing the best care I could give to a loved one. I can drive for activities, medical appointments and errands. I enjoy taking walk with them and can whip up a healthy gourmet meal! Yes an added bonus is that I am a very good cook. :)
