I gained a CNA type of experience in terms of taking care of my disabled uncle from March to May 2018. He required 24 hour assistance in personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, daily laundry, skin maintenance, and companionship. I also acquired some introductory clinical training while I was a pre nursing student at Regis University. When I was about 14 years old in the summer of 2010, I was also given the responsibility of babysitting my 9 year old niece who had mitochondrial syndrome when my aunt was away at work. I would describe myself as a goal oriented individual who strives to exceed general expectations, and demonstrate qualities of dedication, optimism, and commitment in whatever task I am given. I have received certification in CPR BLS and was able to successfully complete the cognitive and skills evaluations in accordance with the curriculum of the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) Program.
