I have been a caregiver for 5 years now. I worked at a home setting assisted living, assisted living facility, and memory care. I have worked with dementia elderly, alzheimer’s, individuals with behavioral issues, disabilities, and one on one care as a home health aide. I also have QMAP (qualified medication administration personnel) certificate, I have administer medications to residents according to written physicians order. I started working as a caregiver because I like to help people, to assist those that aren’t able to care for themselves, to be there for them and to be their friend.
