I love being a caregiver because it allows me to build meaningful, one-on-one relationships and offer real emotional support by being present and kind. To meet people where they’re at consolingly. I find deep fulfillment in knowing I’ve made someone’s day feel safer, calmer, or more connected. I’m especially drawn to elder care and hospice support because I believe that dignity and comfort at every life stage are vital.

I’ve volunteered with hospice, where I offered companionship, helped with light tasks, and sat with people during vulnerable moments. That experience taught me how important gentle presence and calm energy can be—especially in emotionally charged situations. I’ve also helped care for pets and supported friends with childcare, so I’m comfortable moving between emotional support and practical help!
