I cared for my grandmother until the end of her life. She had some heart problems and started to have dementia at the end. It made glad I was able to be the one to spend the time with her and care for her. I know that others do not have that option. I will treat your loved one as though they are my family. I've always spent more time with elders than anyone else throughout my life and truly enjoy the conversation that comes from talking to them. I'm happy to take the to bingo, shopping, out for a little lunch or a movie or just stay home and play cards.
