Cardi’s Bio
I have a big heart and I have always been drawn to elder care. Growing up my grandmother used to take me to visit her sisters in their nursing homes. We would bring them their favorite meals and paint their nails. I also volunteered my time with Seniors all through middle schools. All that is to say, I believe in treating all people with respect and dignity. I also value service and giving back to my community. Missing my Grandmother after moving to Boulder in 2016 led to the decision to get involved locally. I began volunteering 2 hours a week with Meals on Wheels of Boulder in 2017. Unfortunately I had to stop in 2022 because of my work schedule. I look forward to returning when my schedule allows. I am a caretaker by nature and I’m a great listener. My grandmother beat colon cancer twice and I took care of her both times, including post operative care after she got her colostomy bag. I have a BS in Mathematics from UT Austin. In my free time I enjoy cooking and spending time with animals.
