My experience lies in being in Christian ministry as an Ordained Pastor/Missionary since 1988.
I am currently retired and my husband passed away two years ago.
As a Christian and as a person whose heart and vocation has been to comfort and serve, and as a Mother and Grandmother whose purpose is to nurture and care, I know that being a Companion and Helper would be as natural as breathing.
My personality and giftings are strong in giving hope and encouragement.
I love to laugh and hear others laugh, yet being sensitive to someone's hurt or need.
Companionship to me is the extension of friendship.
In an employer/employee relationship, it is I believe, Importent to have the understanding of professional boundariesand the maturity and grace to wisely differentiate those boundaries.
In something as personal as a live-in companion, I believe there are those connections that work very well and it is a right fit and then there may be those that do not fit and should be quickly but graciously ended. In either event, character does matter.
A person of integrity and warmth will handle either scenario correctly.
I am looking to serve in a live-in companion position. I would desire part time hours and if possible, a schedule with Sunday's free for church.
I am currently out of the country visiting my daughter and will be stateside at the end of July.
