I have been helping take care of a woman who has CP for 5.5 years. She is in a wheelchair and communicates with a Talker. I cook for her, do laundry, transfer her to the toilet, dressing, and with her hair. Some light house keeping when needed, but willing to help with whatever is needed around the house. Ali and i chat about whats going on in our lives and id say have definitely grown close. Being able to help her has humbled me in many ways, and i plan to stay working for her until i finish college.
