Hello!
I am 43 years old and I have four children, my oldest has Down Syndrome. I have volunteered as a coach for Special Olympics of Colorado and I was also team Mom when my daughter played Unified sports at Rocky. I like to read, swim and work in my garden. I also love to bake when it’s not so hot outside! Before the pandemic I also volunteered at my sons school. I have also provided respite to some fellow parents so they could just get a break. I don’t have specific experience or training as a companion but in the past 21 years I have worked with, coached or cared for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
