Hi! I am new to the Grand Junction area and looking for part-time work. The majority of my working career has been office work through the Department of Human Services. Though I have no official training or certification in child, pet or elderly care, I feel I could be helpful to individuals or families with some tasks. I babysat for multiple families when I was a teenager. I raised my own child, who is now 32 years old, and, might I add, we survived the teenage years! I also have a 4 year old grandchild I love to spend time with!

I feel my strengths would be in caring for an infant, transportation, running errands, caring for pets in their own home, house sitting or companionship for older children or the elderly. Because of some physical limitations I have, I am not currently able to provide care that would involve heavy lifting or a lot of physical activity. Though I wish I could, I'm just not physically able to keep up with a super active toddler or pet. However, I would be a great fit for an infant, pets that need cared for and loved on but don't need a lot of activity, transporting older children to/from school, after school care or companionship and/or running errands for elderly or disabled individuals. I am also open to some very light household chores and preparing simple meals. I've never been considered a great cook! But I love to talk, listen, visit and be a support to others.
