Hi! My name is Sydney and I am a kind, patient, and energetic carer.
I transitioned into the healthcare field four years ago when I became an EMT. A few years later, I decided to go to nursing school and have recently graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing! While in school, I worked on the Surgical Trauma unit at CU Anschutz as an ACP (nurse extern), where I continued to learn about acitivities of daily living and how to engage with adults who need care assistance. I love creating connections in this environment, and bringing a positive energy to daily life. As a care provider, I try to maintain as much normalcy and independence while also ensuring safety. As I prepare to take the NCLEX this summer, I have the flexibility to be a care companion outside of the hospital, and would love to hang out with adults who want or need a companion.
