Jona’s Bio
My name is Jona and I am a board certified music therapist. My entire reason for becoming a clinician is because of the grandparents of the world. I spent a good chunk of my childhood in nursing homes visiting residents because my mother and grandmother both worked in one. I played bingo, yahtzee, and sat with them just to talk. I also shared my love of music.
I have served as an aide in adult group homes. I am creative with reaching out to someone. I am extremely close to my grandparents and have lived with them many times in my life. I believe in bringing care and compassion that is much deserved into each relationship.
I also sing and play guitar, piano, and flute and love to make music with anyone of any age!
