I attended and graduated Lincoln Technical School in Shelton, CT for medical assistant. I had to move back to CO to care for my mother, as to keep her home I stead of going into a nursing home. I took care of her 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I took care of her personal hygiene, meal prep, laundry, housekeeping. transportation to doctor appointments , administration of daily meds a and IV, took care of and maintained colostomy, including changing of bag. The most important thing I did was companionship, puzzles, watching her TV shows and talking about memories.
