I worked for 26 years as a Teachers Assistant at Perkins School for the Blind. During that time, I also worked as a Personal Care Attendant for over 10 years. This past year I was working for Arlington Public Schools as a Paraprofessional. Due to COVID, I was laid off.

I want to remain in this line of work because its rewarding to me both professionally and personally. Caring for others in this way is something I can say I am naturally good at. I have held various certifications over the years including First Aid, CPR, and a Working with Autistic Children certification.
