I've done companion care for about 10 years...on and off. I worked for one family for 4 years...and another family for 6 years. My responsibilities consisted of shopping with the clients.....cooking.....light house keeping.....and transportation assistance.
I always enjoy working with the elderly especially.....in assisting them with their basic daily needs. The thing I enjoy the most is their smiles of appreciation....and their ability to occasionally speak about their life and their families.
Patients is my strongest attribute....when dealing with any situation.
I have a Bachelors Degree....as well....as some nursing training. I'm a big pet lover so pets are not a issue...cats yes because I'm allergic to them unfortunately.
