I'm a all around genuine person. I knew from an early age that helping people was essential to me that is why I set out to get my criminal justice degree. On my journey of life I had multiple face to face and human interactive jobs which helped me build up very vital skills including being a great verbal and written communicator, I'm honest, reliable, creative and fun, independent, conscientious, highly organized, confident in my work and always willing to take on new challenges and work them out open mindedly with patience. My work history includes working in my college library for 2 years as a library assistant this position allowed me to work with multiple people of many different ages helped on my organization and people's kills and a little lite cleaning as well. I worked to help take care of my dying uncle for a year, I helped change his bedding, help wash him, cloth him, feed him, entertained him, and did little miscellaneous things he needed done and I did it with pride because one day that may be me and I will want to be treated with dignity, love, and care as I'd do for anyone I look after. I also am the oldest out of 4 kids so lots of baby sitting has been done. I'm a mom of a fur baby , I have a one year old dog that I love so much and I truly believe if you can't take care of a pet or can't be trusted with a animal DONT EVER leave that person alone with a human. In addition, i have experience as a disability awareness coordinator this job wasn't so hands on but I did have to reach out to people to inform them on the effects of muscular dystrophy during the short period of time I work at that temp position I advocated so well for these kids who suffer from neurological diseases that I managed to get 500+ people to commit to practicing in our fundraiser for a nonprofit organization. I have volunteer experience working in soup kitchens feeding less misfortunate. As well as volunteer experience working the wheel A thon which was a fundraiser to help raise money for those disabled we rode in wheelchairs had mini races and other activities on West Haven beach. I also have multiple years experience working as a hairdresser and cosmetologist so I think that will also be beneficial because you have to know how to talk and interact with people and keep them engaged. I believe I'm the right fit for this position because I'm truly a loving person, and I treat others how I'd like to treated and age or disability doesn't make anyone less of a human being
