I've worked in a geriatric psychiatric unit for three years where the patient had dementia, Alzheimer's, a plethora of health issues, needed bathing, and so on and so forth. I did work night shift, and as I'm sure you know, Sundowners is a legitimate thing. However, I have no qualms about anything that your loved one would need and I would care for them as if they were my own. We asked Lindsay to help us out on a week we were desperate for child care. Daycare was closed, my child had been sick the whole week before, and my husband was traveling so I desperately needed someone to watch our sweet girl while I worked from home. Lindsay just didn't show. She never called and her phone went straight to voicemail. It left us in a pretty big bind.
