I have been a caregiver to my 91 year old grandmother when necessary. I am a masters level social worker. My year long clinical internship served individuals with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders. These individuals ranged in age from 18 to 75.
I have previous EMT-B training, though not licensed currently/practicing due to my new social work profession.
Having conversations or keeping one company during a difficult time is one of my skills, even if that means sharing a space with someone quietly if that’s what’s the individual prefers. Or we can play games, be active, what ever! I’m a very flexible person.
