Jamie’s Bio
I received my CNA license in 2010, completed the CPR course for advanced medical professionals and worked in Nuclear Medicine and in the NICU. I have been taking care of my grandparents for the last 7 years. My grandfather is a 97 year old WW2 veteran and his wife of 68 years, my grandmother, who unfortunately, has advanced Alzheimer's. It's been a learning experience to say the very least, but I have studied the disease and feel that I have a working knowledge of what works, and what doesn't. If by any chance you have a loved one suffering with Alzheimers, I'd like to suggest looking up a woman by the name of Teepa Snow on YouTube. She's simply amazing, and provides extremely helpful and easy to understand information that for me, was just priceless! I would love the opportunity to help a family to avoid the heartache and confusion of a new diagnosis.
I'm available for any position, but I do have experience with Alzheimer's patients.
