I have worked at the YMCA and was assigned to a small group of children with autism and other developmental challenges to help with before and after school activities and school work. I also worked in a half way house for juvenile teen girls who were recently let out of custody and who were also incarcerated while pregnant. The teen girls and their babies were living full time in the facility where I worked. I have also provided extensive care to 2 people on hospice care and was a personal caretaker until the time of passing. I work best with children and animals and have a very strong passion for serving others. I’m looking for a career that I can make an impact on others lives and do real service work.
