I have spent the past three years working part-time for a company that does in-home care for elderly/disabled. I enjoy getting to know my clients, learning about their past and hearing about their families. I am comfortable with meal prep, as well as running errands such as grocery shopping or driving to/from doctor appointments (I often have acted as another set of eyes and ears at appointments as well). I also have experience working with Dementia/Alzheimer clients. I am very patient, and always try to understand where my clients are coming from when we need to problem-solve together. I find providing companionship, and often friendship, very rewarding.
