I am a medical assistant, have been for 5 years now. After school I was a home health aid for a gentleman with a traumatic brain injury. I was with him 5 days a week, and it has always been my favorite job I’ve ever done . I love the bond you are able to create with people and the true care you are able to provide. We cooked meals together, did daily exercises, lunch, and help with bathing as he needed. I am currently in school for RN and just finished my clinical rotation at a nursing home. The geriatric population has always been near and dear to my heart.
