I have a daughter on the autism spectrum and I was her primary caregiver for 11 years and I have plenty of patience and knowledge about this disability.
I took her to and from school and also drove her to occupational,speech and behavioral therapies.i love the challenge of trying to communicate with these children because they are so intelligent but they have a different way of going about things.i use a gentle approach in trying to communicate and will do what it takes for us to be on the same page.i always try to look on the bright side of things because I feel that there is no use looking at the glass as half empty.i also worked for the FL sheriff's youth ranch years ago as a youth care assistant for troubled children
