My name is Tina and my age is 58 years young. I completed Certified Nurse's Assistant Program at South Windsor Nursing Center in Connecticut in 1988. I completed Medical Administrative Assistant Program at Morse School of Business in Hartford, Connecticut in 1995 along with an internship at Family Medicine Associates in East Hartford, Connecticut. From 1988 to 1998, I worked as a Home Health Aide for East Hartford Visiting Nurse's Association. From 1998 to 1999, I worked as a Medical Assistant for Dr. M. D'Souza in Cape Coral, Florida. From 1999 to 2013, I had four different jobs working as a Private Duty Nurse's Aide. In one of those jobs, I worked for an 80 year old that was legally blind for eight years. I assisted her with activities of daily living, personal care, vitals, medicine, physical therapy, and scheduling/transporting her to appointments. I also assisted her with running her household including most clerical work, writing checks, answering phone calls, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation, holiday decorating, entertaining friends and family and more. I accompanied her to her summer home in Wisconsin and stayed with her there every year. I was also responsible for hiring/firing, training, and supervising weekend help.
