As a former Certified Nursing Aide at both a skilled nursing facilty and surgical progressive care unit at the hospital, I discovered I that while enjoyed helping the elderly with their daily living needs, I learned I enjoyed even more the interaction and the wealth of knowledge they were able to provide. Unfortunately, at both the nursing home and hospital you were not able to really provide the one-on-one attention necessary in some cases.
