Hope S. Care Companion in Chicago, IL 60657

Hi!
My older sister has Down Syndrome, and I've grown up learning the best ways to care for children and those who have special needs as a result. I have experience with individuals with Autism, Downs, ADHD, and Deafness/Hard of Hearing. I've worked with children of all ages. I've babysat, volunteered in schools, and spent previous summers working at the City of Largo summer camp, and an adult day program for individuals with developmental delays. I'm a recent graduate from New College of Florida, and wrote my thesis on siblings of individuals with developmental disabilities. My end goal is researching families where members have a disability. I've recently been accepted to UNF for their MS program in psychological sciences, where I'll be writing my thesis on Autism diagnosis disclosure. I expect to be free most days, evenings, and weekends this summer.
