I was my great aunt's primary care giver from her 80s until she passed at 90 years of age. She was the woman who raised me from my age of six months old. I bathed her, fed her, took her outside of the house to the park and grocery store, etc. I do not have any certificates, but have a true grasp of knowledge in caring for the elderly. She was only happy and coherent when I was caring for her. Unfortunately, she broke her foot and had to go into the hospital and then rehab facility which confused her. She then didn't remember who I was so I had to admit her to an assisted living facility and her health declined and she passed away soon after at the age of 90.
